The Yamaha R7 and R3 sports bikes have been spotted at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) near Chennai while the official video shoot for Yamaha India. Reports suggest that the bikes were there for a TVC shoot, which suggests we might see a market launch soon. Yamaha R3 was available in the Indian market, it was discontinued by Yamaha. As the demand of premium motorcycles and big-engine motorcycles are increasing in India Yamaha is consider launching there Yamaha R3 and R7 in India.
The Yamaha R3 is powered by a 321cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that makes 42 BHP and 29.5 Nm. It will lock horns with the KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 400. This is the only motorcycle which has a twin cylinder in 300cc segment.

Yamaha R7 performance
The Yamaha R7 is a mid-capacity sports bike powered by a 689cc parallel-twin engine producing 72 BHP and 63 Nm. It will compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Honda CBR650R. Yamaha R7 is one of the fastest in the segment. It has Quick-shifter and comes with adjustable windshield.
